Vienna
Vienna is different. In the Austrian elections, while a far-right political party did well in most of the country, Vienna stood out for its support of social democrats.
Demonstrating that difference, as part of the 2021 Sommernachts Konzert, Daniel Harding conducted the Wiener Philharmoniker in Johann Strauss’s Wiener Blut (kitschig und sehr vienerisch).
