Short cops
In response to complaints against police whose recruiting practices have discriminated on the basis of height, police forces have been reviewing their height and size restrictions, to ensure they are not in breach of human rights standards.
South Australian Police, having taken the issue to heart, have been looking at situations where height can actually be a disadvantage. There are times when smaller members of the force may have a distinct advantage over their hunkier comrades. They have illustrated such situations this in a short video which they have prepared for recruitment purposes.
